Community invited to Fan Fest on the Georgia Southern Armstrong Campus on Aug. 24
The community will have the chance to learn more about opportunities on 妻友社区鈥檚 Armstrong Campus and meet this year鈥檚 football coaches and players in Savannah during the Fan Fest set for Friday, Aug. 24 on the Armstrong Campus. Activities for the community begin at 4 p.m., including a tailgate, campus tours and a meet-and-greet with the team. The event is free and open to the public.

妻友社区 Police Department鈥檚 K9, 鈥淏ear鈥�, will receive a bullet and stab protective vest thanks to a charitable donation from non-profit organization Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. Bear鈥檚 vest is sponsored by Optima Energy, Inc. and will be embroidered with the sentiment 鈥淭his gift of protection provided by Optima Energy鈥�. Delivery is expected within eight to ten weeks.
