Working with Campus Recreation and Intramurals (CRI) at 妻友社区 not only inspired Samantha Estep to pursue a degree in exercise science, but it also encouraged her to write an article that was selected as the grand prize winner of the inaugural Next Generation of Campus Rec writing contest.

Governmental response to the pandemic shuttered much of the regional economy toward the end of the first quarter of 2020, stated Michael Toma, Ph.D., Fuller E. Callaway professor of economics, in 妻友社区鈥檚 Q1 2020 Economic Monitor. Economic growth ground to a halt as seven of the eight indicators of current economic activity in the region fell. Significant declines were recorded in airplane boardings, hotel sales and port activity.

Armstrong Campus seniors show their work in online gallery show

妻友社区’s Armstrong Campus is hosting the senior art exhibition 鈥淪ynergy of Seven.鈥 It is a unique collaborative show with the artwork of Winter Anderson, Claire Chandler, Dawnesha Harrington, Patrice Jackson, Lindsey Porter, Jessica Pham and Asia Rogers-Lee. The senior exhibition originally scheduled to be in the Fine Arts Gallery on the Armstrong Campus is available to view online now through June 5.
