Catherine A. Moore holds a B.A. in psychology from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and an M.F.A. in illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Moore approaches teaching from her psychology and visual communication backgrounds, using knowledge of art history, materials, and techniques as tools with which to effectively communicate and disseminate ideas and concepts. In addition to teaching at GGC, Moore currently works in the Metro Atlanta area as an illustrator for local and national clients, specializing in graphite portraiture and watercolor illustration.
