Dear Faculty, Staff and Students,

As we approach the end of another academic year, I want to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude and pride in all that we have accomplished together. This year has been marked by renewed energy, collaboration and an unwavering commitment to student success –Ìýand because of your efforts, we’ve made it a truly exceptional year.

One of the joys of this year has been the opportunity to connect more closely with many of you through luncheons with faculty, staff and students, walking meetings and by attending department and divisional meetings. These gatherings brought together student leaders, faculty, staff and others for meaningful conversations that underscored the dedication and insight that define our campus community.

Our Inaugural Four Pillars Gala was a huge success with $289,000 being raised for student scholarships. We also honored longtime supporters of the college and welcomed more than 500 guests, many of whom had never been on our beautiful campus before.Ìý

We celebrated a strong spring enrollment, a testament to our growing reputation and the confidence students and families continue to place in us. Our Convocation Center is on its way to becoming a vibrant hub of activity, filled with energy and engagement, symbolizing the heart of our campus life.Ìý

The college hosted its largest Senior Sendoff event and on May 10, we look forward to celebrating nearly 850 graduates across two commencement ceremonies. Each of these students represents resilience, determination and the bright future of our communities.

Our students also shined through their creativity and scholarship at STaRS and the CREATE Symposium and other end-of-year events where we witnessed inspiring presentations highlighting their academic journeys.

The college’s relationship with Lawrenceville and reputation with the larger community continues to grow. A particular highlight was the City of Lawrenceville Mural, a public and permanent representation of community partnership and student talent.

We are also proud of the strength and stability of our leadership team, which was further enhanced this year with the naming of our permanent provost, Dr. Chavonda Mills. This important appointment helps solidify our strategic direction and ensures we are well-positioned for continued academic excellence.

None of this would be possible without sound institutional stewardship and the strong support from the University System of Georgia. I am pleased to share that we continue to maintain strong fiscal and budgetary management, ensuring our resources are aligned with our mission and the needs of those we serve.

Thank you for your dedication, your passion and your belief in our shared work. This year has been an incredible chapter in our journey, and I am excited for what lies ahead as we continue to grow and serve our students and community with excellence.

Wishing you a restful and joyful summer,

President Jann L. JosephÌý
